Retail Operations Coordinator | Full Time | Kew Location

As Retail Operations Coordinator you will support our ever-growing retail network of 140+ stores across the Bonds, Bonds Kids, Bonds Outlet, Myer Concession and Champion brands nationally. Based in our Apparel Group Head Office in Kew, and reporting into the Senior Retail Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for a range of retail support tasks, including:

As Retail Operations Coordinator you will support our ever-growing retail network of 140+ stores across the Bonds, Bonds Kids, Bonds Outlet, Myer Concession and Champion brands nationally. Based in our Apparel Group Head Office in Kew, and reporting into the Senior Retail Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for a range of retail support tasks, including:

  • Managing the store support inbox: a high volume of queries and requests will come through this inbox each day from the store teams, which must be actioned quickly and efficiently. Examples of these requests include:
    • creating POS access for retail staff
    • problem solving ad-hoc store issues and offering solutions/advice
    • managing store consumable queries
  • Processing invoices relating to all store bills & consumables: we have a high volume of invoices that need processing on a daily and weekly basis, so keeping on top of these is a key part of the role
  • Supplier management: regular liaison with external suppliers and our Accounts Payable team to manage the efficient processing of all invoices
  • Reporting: you will be part of the team responsible for pulling together weekly and monthly sales, KPI and new store opening reporting, and as required by the Senior Management Team
  • Administrative tasks, including updating and managing store details on the Bonds website and contact lists; assisting in store incentive updates, distribution and prize management; collating and sending out The Full Brief, a weekly newsletter for the store network; assisting in organising national retail conferences
  • Store visits – you can't support the team without knowing the in's and out's of our retail team, so getting out to stores regularly is a key part of the this role
  • Process improvements – we don't sit still for long! There is always something we can improve in the way we do things and continuing to streamline procedures

This is a very diverse role where you won't get bored! You will gain exposure to many different areas of the business and provide a crucial support role to our retail teams.

What experience do I have?

  • 1 – 3 years' experience in administration – you know your way around invoices and invoice processing, and have worked on the MS Office suite previously
  • Experience in a retail environment would be beneficial – knowing retail will really help you support our teams
  • Attitude is everything to us: you are hard-working, self-motivated and down to earth, with a passion for retail and a strong work ethic
  • You are highly organised, and an excellent time manager, able to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task when required
  • Whether by email, phone or face to face, you are a confident, articulate and empathetic communicator, comfortable problem solving on the spot, and calming high-stress situations
  • We need you to be flexible and adapt to our ever-changing business requirements
  • And most important of all, you are customer focussed, and you love our awesome brands!
