Talent Acquisition Manager | 12mth Maternity Leave Contract | Kew, Melbourne

We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join us on a 12month Maternity Leave Contract to manage end to end recruitment across the Apparel Group including our Bonds & Champion Retail network. Managing a team of two Recruitment Advisors and one Junior Recruitment Advisor, your role will be a mix of hands-on recruitment at a corporate level, and people/team leadership.

This is a hands-on, strategic and business focused role, responsible for ensuring we are sourcing, attracting and securing tomorrow's talent, whilst remaining on-brand at all times, and providing an amazing candidate experience throughout.

Your role

As Talent Acquisition Manager you will be leading the Recruitment team whilst also managing the portfolio of vacancies for the Apparel Group in Sydney and Melbourne across all business functions, including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Design and Supply & Operations (approx. 450 FTE).

You will be involved in high-level talent management discussions and work hand in hand with the HR teams to ensure we are managing our people effectively and maximising internal mobility.

In addition you will have reporting responsibility across both Retail and Corporate recruitment, and be the key point of contact for our recruitment agency network, managing agreed terms of business across. Ad hoc projects come up regularly, one of the largest being our retail Christmas Casual recruitment drive for 2018, for which you will take the lead.

What experience do I have?

  • 3-5 years' experience in a team leader or recruitment manager role, within an in-house recruitment model
  • Proven people leadership capability
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Hands on recruitment expertise 

Recruiting at different levels across different functions requires agility and an ability to effectively read and understand stakeholder needs. Understanding the business, both structurally and operationally, is crucial, and a proven background in working within large corporate businesses with matrix structures and multiple functions will be the key to your success.
