Assistant Operations Manager | 12 Month FTC | Burwood, NSW

As an Assistant Operations Manager you will report to the Operations Manager.  Your key focus will be assisting in managing the end-to-end operations procedures and executing business plans. You'll have responsibility for achieving DIFOT, managing stock levels, as well as effectively joining forces and building relationships with key stakeholders across several sites within Australia and overseas, both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with supply base, planning, logistics and demands to achieve DIFOT targets
• Facilitate and lead supply and demand meetings
• Streamline customer ordering cycles and lead times
• Work closely with our Logistics team to ensure smooth operations between supply and the customer
• Troubleshoot concerns with seasonal and basic delivery timelines

Essential for your success is:

• Tertiary qualifications within Business Management, Communications or Logistics
• Experience in managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders
• Solid written and verbal communication skills     
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are essential, with advanced Microsoft Excel abilities highly desirable
• Ability to lead people through project management and work in a team
