Sheridan has 4 channels, Studio, Boutique, David Jones Concession and Sheridan Factory Outlet, Outlet being the channel this Senior Buyer will be driving.


A bit about the role

You will be driving the Sheridan Factory Outlet channel. This strategic role will see you achieving maximum results for our Outlet business. With 60 outlets globally, you will be covering all stock and driving the entirety of product for our Sheridan Factory Outlet business. The primary focus of this role is to drive the channel through product strategy and collaborating closely with the planning team to deliver Assortment and Ranging for all Sheridan Factory Outlet Channels.

You will report to the Senior Merchandise Manager and develop Promotional Calendars, set strategic product direction and ultimately drive the Sheridan Factory Outlet channel to success by achieving and exceeding sales, EBIT and stock budgets.


What level of experience will I need?

  • Demonstrated senior buying experience within the homeware space
  • Strong knowledge of Australian homewares and local retail
  • Experience of managing business calendars
  • Experience of Product Development
  • Proven success within category growth
  • Ability to showcase design/category inspiration
  • Ability to travel Internationally if required
